The iPhone 7 is the newest contender to the iPhone series and while we are all eagerly awaiting to see what Apple will bring out with the next phone (as it’s the 10th year anniversary of the first iPhone), the iPhone 7 is already equipped with some fantastic features.

If you own an iPhone 7 or 7 Plus, these hacks are definitely ones you would want to know about!

Swift shake and erase:

Previously, in order to delete a message you were typing you would have to hold down on the message, choose to select all and then backspace to delete the entire contents. Now, with the new iPhone – all you have to do is a swift shake and bye bye messages! Nifty hack, don’t you think?

Adjust the Home button feel:

For those that don’t know, the feeling you get when touching the home button is not because it’s an actual home button – it’s due to the Taptic engine built into the phone which responds to pressure. If you want that feel the button more when tapping or feel it less then head over to settings > general > home and see the option to adjust the button pressure. What’s great is that you can try out the different options to see which suits you best.

Hard reset is different:

When your iPhone starts acting up, most of us know to do a hard reset (holding down sleep/wake and the home button until the Apple logo appears before releasing the buttons), but with iPhone 7 – the way of resetting your phone is now changed. This is due to the fact that the home button is no longer a button. To reset hold the sleep/wake button and volume down button together to hard reset your phone.

Know of any great hacks for the iPhone 7 or 7 Plus?
