It is no secret that blue light emitted from electronic devices can be harmful to the eyes, especially in dark environments. Thankfully, Android devices are equipped with Night Mode features such as “Night Light” and “Eye Comfort Shield” to help reduce the amount of blue light emitted by your device and safeguard your eyes.

 

How to Enable Night Mode on Android

 

  1. Go to “Settings”.
  2. Next, go to the “Display” section.
  3. Now you can toggle on “Night Light” or “Eye Comfort Shield”.
  4. Depending on your device, you’ll see different options here. Some devices have a “Schedule” feature that allows you to set a custom time period or sunset to sunrise.
  5. Alternatively, you can add the Night Light or Eye Comfort Shield toggle to the Quick Settings panel for even easier access.
