There’s almost no question why WhatsApp is one of the most widely used messaging apps available. The download is free, messaging is fast and secure with end-to-end encryption, and it allows both voice and video calls using only internet connection. Here’s how to install WhatsApp in just a few simple steps.

From the home screen of your Samsung device, navigate to the Google Play Store. Tap the Search bar at the top of the screen, type in “WhatsApp,” then click on the search icon, which usually looks like a magnifying glass. Select “WhatsApp” from the list of apps that appear in the search results, and click “Install” on the top right of the screen. A circular loading icon should appear in its place as the app downloads to your device. Once installed, tap “Open” to begin the setup process of your WhatsApp account.

Once the WhatsApp application has successfully downloaded and been opened, it will ask you to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, after which you will need to input your phone number for verification. You should shortly receive a text message with your verification code which can then be entered in WhatsApp. Enter your name and a picture of yourself to personalise your account. If you’ve previously downloaded and installed WhatsApp, there will be an option to restore your chat history. Tap “Next” once your account is set up, and you’re free to start messaging!

WhatsApp is a great, affordable way to keep in touch and connect with your contacts. We’re sure this guide will have you WhatsApp ready in no time!
