Apple has recently announced that there will be an exciting event on October 18th surrounding the release of new MacBooks, a Mac Mini and a new set of AirPods. According to The Verge, this event was highly anticipated and the invitation video gives us just one word to chew on – ‘Unleashed.’ The event will stream live on Apple.com at 7PM SAST.

We’re looking forward to seeing the rumored release of a new 14 and 16 inch MacBook Pro, with an impressive 10 CPU cores as well as 16 or 32 Graphic Processor Cores thanks to Apple’s innovative M1X chip.
The Verge states that “Other anticipated features include the return of fan-favorite MacBook features like magnetic MagSafe charging, an HDMI port, and an SD card slot. The maligned OLED touch bar, mercifully, could be on the way out.”

The new Mac Mini is rumored to have been redesigned to showcase a sleeker and more higher end look, with two more ports than its predecessor, including two Thunderbolt / USB 4 Type-C ports and two USB Type-A ports. There is also speculation as to the redesign of the AirPods coming into their third generation. They are expected to look similar to the AirPods Pro with shorter stems and an all new charging case.
We’re excited to see what comes out of the Apple event, as the iPhone 13’s release was exciting, innovative and a pleasant surprise to fans of both the iPhone and iPad line-up. Make sure to catch the event on October 18th via Apple.com at 7PM SAST.
